Date yourself at the Gym – advice by celebrity trainer Jeanette Jenkins: If exercise often ends up being your last priority, try making a date with your self. “Schedule your workouts just like any other important appointment.” To ensure your chances of success, enlist a friend: “Be accountable to a workout buddy”.
Jeanette Jenkins explains why exercising is a healthy choice not only for the body, but for the mind as well: “Good mental health is just as important as good physical health, and exercise is crucial to getting both”. With exercise comes more energy, good health, and a strong motivation to keep going on. This 21 days plan is designed to help you further beyond this three weeks period, into making healthy living a lifetime habit.
The program is made up of four main workouts: three strength circuits and a cardio one. Each circuit is built around different muscles areas, while the cardio is designed to burn up energy and build your fitness. It is recommended to do the exercises in the order prescribed.
You will need sets of light and medium dumbbells (3-5, respectively 8-10 pounds).
We’ve heard good things about this plan from people who’ve decided to rely on it, and found it at amazon.com for 12.95. If you decide to give it a try please let us know how it worked for you in the comments. Below is the general breakthrough of the plan:
